a soft little still life

Another in the series of 12 small paintings! Awhile back, I gave myself 5 minutes to find 12 images in my (somewhat huge) photo collection, and have been painting them in between other projects (read: moving son to college, keeping fingers crossed he can stay there, providing art therapy online??, and giving my high school junior lots of space while she attempts AP Physics online??, too) . Hmm. Time for as much soft and soothing imagery as we can get. This one, just two of MANY houseplants my favorite grad student has in her adorable new duplex in St. Louis’s Central West End.
