The Last One…

Here he is, the last of my rose robin mixed media pieces. I thought of him quite a bit today as the D.C. area had a fantastic warm weather surprise. I spent a few minutes cleaning up the car and the yard and was so glad to hear that harbinger of spring…singing birds. Coming up next, a fun challenge in my studio: I set my timer for 5 minutes and dashed through all the accumulated photos I’ve taken. The object of the game was to find 12 images I’d love to paint this winter and spring. This Battle Against Overthinking was really refreshing, and I’m enjoying what’s flowing out of the brush.
