My kids are used to my quirks now: this morning they all agreed to wake early to watch the lunar eclipse with me (GORGEOUS to me, “like a GIGANTIC Nilla Wafer” to my youngest). I am a Devoted Space Nerd, and also a Complete Barn Geek. When my oldest and I drove to Ohio in July to see a couple wonderful colleges, we saw this beautiful and peaceful sight by the side of the road. My daughter didn’t need to ask why we were pulling over…she knew! As I painted this I kept thinking what a great young lady she is, and how much I’ll miss her next year, wherever that may be.
The original is 10×10, with a super wide 1 1/4″ gallery edge I’ve painted. All it needs is a little saw tooth hanger–no frame required.
