My mom sometimes says my life is just a wee bit hectic: “Are you still on your hamster wheel?” is a common question in our talks. Yes, but now and then I stop, even if it’s just for 5 minutes between 4:21 and 4:26 am, and usually it’s to listen to the birds for a few before my run or to read a few cherished pages of an Ian Rankin I’d not yet read (such a huge moment at the library when I found that, btw).
And so, this little bird. He’s got no background but a calm peaceful blue, and seems to be saying, “OK, lots going on, as per the usual, but…you got this. Enjoy it.” And so I will.
The original, 6″x 6″, $95, is available through me, or prints can be found here: https://fineartamerica.com/featured/whats-next-anne-lewis.html
Enjoy all your peaceful little moments!
