Years ago, I spent a quiet morning taking photos at the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The painting that resulted pleased me enough at the time, but with 8 more years of wisdom and a few thick layers of happy added to my life, I decided a refresh was in order. The updated version above captures the bright colors the sun picked out that morning, as well as the serenity of the place. The original (10″x10″, $275) can be yours by contacting me, or prints can be found through this link http://fineartamerica.com/featured/blackwater-wildlife-refuge-1-anne-lewis.html.
Hope you have a few more layers of happy yourself!
