For years I didn’t head back to Notre Dame for one reason or another, but now that I’m not just an alumna but a parent of a sophomore and an ND sports nut son, I’m there fairly often. At this point I’m thinking I can drive the Pennsylvania Turnpike blindfolded. OK, slight exaggeration.
So much has changed there (Food for the better! Tuition for the worse!), but this iconic image hasn’t changed at all. I captured it in autumn, with the beautiful intense colors of that season tucking up against the Golden Dome. The original (10″x10″, $295) is available, or prints can be found here http://fineartamerica.com/featured/the-dome-in-autumn-anne-lewis.html .
Go Irish, and Merry Christmas to all!
